About The Brand
Embrace Medical on Crown is a new GP clinic launched in January 2026, based in Wollongong. The practice is created in response to the growing need for more thoughtful, high quality primary care.
Rather than being just another medical clinic, Embrace Medical was founded with a clear intention to offer care that is personal, consistent, and genuinely patient centred.

The Challenge
As a new GP clinic, Embrace Medical needed to build awareness while clearly standing apart from traditional, clinical looking practices. The challenge was to create a brand and website that felt warm, inviting, and human, while still conveying trust, professionalism, and clinical expertise.
Our Approach
Many GP clinics feel overly clinical and impersonal, creating distance before patients engage. Our solution was to create a warm, human centred visual identity, balancing calm, approachability, and clinical credibility.
Visual Identity

The primary logo is a clean typographic approach that explores 'embrace' as a concept rather than a literal gesture—moving beyond hands or arms to capture the essence of connection through form and space.
The submark is an icon that features two equal parts coming together to hold something important, capturing the essence of what an embrace truly represents. It reflects Embrace Medical’s values—a holistic, nurturing approach to care, where connection and compassion are central.

The colour scheme came from early conversations with Marisa. Her brief to the architects was a Scandinavian-inspired space — clean, modern, but still calm and welcoming.
We looked to the evening sunsets over Mount Keira, just down the road, and pulled those soft, warm tones into the brand and signage. We worked closely with the architect to help establish a cohesive palette that carried consistently through the entire space.



Website
Healthcare websites are often difficult to navigate and disconnected from the patient experience.
So we built a calm, intuitive website that was designed to reflect the Embrace ethos, with clear information, gentle language, and simple booking pathways.
Social Media
Launching a new GP clinic into a competitive healthcare landscape means earning trust before you've even seen your first patient. For Embrace Medical, we started building their social media presence six months ahead of opening — creating the space to generate genuine excitement, establish familiarity, and lay the groundwork for a loyal community.
A clear brand narrative was defined from day one. Through consistent content, tone, and storytelling across social platforms, we introduced who Embrace Medical are, what they stand for, and why that matters to the people they support — long before the doors opened.
The results? Over six months, Embrace Medical grew to 704 organic followers with zero paid advertising.
For a new local healthcare practice, this represented steady, authentic community building—attracting patients genuinely interested in the practice's approach rather than passive scrollers from boosted posts.
The audience consisted primarily of women aged 25-44 years old based in Wollongong - directly aligned with the practice's target patient base.
